This Privacy Policy explains how Premier Rank, LLC ("Premier Rank", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, shares and deletes information when you visit premierank.com, contact us, use our services, or use Beacon, our multichannel e-commerce software. It also explains the specific rules we follow for information we receive from Amazon through the Amazon Selling Partner API.
1. Who we are
Premier Rank, LLC provides digital services (development, e-commerce, marketing and AI) and operates the Beacon software platform. Premier Rank, LLC is responsible for the information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at any time at support@premierank.com.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company name and the content of your message when you fill in a form, book a call or email us.
- Account information for Beacon users: name, business name, email address, role, language preference and login details. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
- Connected channel data: when you authorize Beacon to access a store, marketplace or marketing account, we receive the data that platform makes available for the permissions you approve, such as products, listings, prices, inventory, orders, fees, settlements, advertising performance and analytics reports.
- Billing information: subscription plan and invoice history. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, features used and timestamps, collected through server logs and analytics cookies.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and support our services and Beacon, including syncing and displaying the data of the channels you connect.
- To prepare the analytics, reports, alerts and recommendations you request, and to carry out actions in your connected channels only after you approve them or under rules you set.
- To respond to your enquiries and send service, security and administrative messages.
- To manage subscriptions and billing.
- To keep our services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To send marketing messages about our own services, only where you have agreed or where the law allows; you can opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Information we receive from Amazon (Selling Partner API)
When an Amazon seller authorizes Beacon, we receive Amazon information through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). We handle this information in line with the Amazon Services API Solution Provider Agreement, the Amazon Acceptable Use Policy and the Amazon Data Protection Policy. In particular:
- Source: we obtain Amazon information only from Amazon through the SP-API, with the seller's authorization. We do not collect Amazon information from any other source, and we do not scrape Amazon websites.
- Purpose: we use Amazon information only to provide Beacon's services to the seller who authorized us, such as analytics, inventory and order management, pricing under the seller's rules, listing management and finance reports.
- No sharing or sale: we do not sell, rent, disclose or share Amazon information with any third party. It is not used for advertising, profiling or to build any other product.
- Brand Analytics: Brand Analytics data is shown only to the authorized brand owner's own workspace. It is never combined across sellers, never used for benchmarking for other sellers, and never shared outside that workspace.
- Buyer information: Beacon does not request access to buyers' personally identifiable information (PII). If we ever receive such information, we will use it only for the purpose it was provided for and delete it within 30 days, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Access control: only authorized personnel who need Amazon information for their job duties can access it. Their access is protected with strong passwords and multi-factor authentication and is reviewed regularly.
- Security: Amazon information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access tokens and credentials are stored encrypted and are never stored in code or public repositories.
- Incidents: we maintain an incident response plan. If a security incident affects Amazon information, we notify Amazon at security@amazon.com within 24 hours of detection, and we notify affected sellers.
- Deletion: when a seller revokes Beacon's authorization or closes their Beacon account, we stop accessing their Amazon information and delete it within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
5. Information we receive from Amazon Ads
When an advertiser or seller connects their Amazon Ads account to Beacon, we receive advertising data through the Amazon Ads API, such as campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, budgets, bids and performance reports. We handle this data in line with the Amazon Ads API License Agreement and the Amazon Ads Partner Network policies:
- Authorization: the account owner connects Amazon Ads through Amazon's own Login with Amazon page. We never collect or store Amazon login credentials.
- Purpose: Amazon Ads data is used only to provide Beacon's advertising features to the account that authorized it: reporting, recommendations and the campaign changes that the account owner approves.
- No sharing: we do not sell, share or disclose Amazon Ads data to third parties, and we do not combine it with data from other third-party sources.
- No targeting or re-identification: we do not use Amazon Ads data for interest-based advertising or retargeting, and we do not attempt to identify individual shoppers.
- Minimum data: we request only the data needed for the features the account owner uses.
- Deletion: when the account owner disconnects Amazon Ads or closes their Beacon account, the related Amazon Ads data is deleted within 30 days, or earlier on request.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Infrastructure providers that host and run our services under contract and confidentiality obligations, such as our server hosting provider in Germany and our email delivery provider. They process data only on our instructions. Amazon information is not shared with any party except where strictly needed to host our own systems.
- The platforms you connect: when you approve an action in Beacon, we send the data needed for that action to the relevant platform (for example, a price update to your own Amazon account).
- Legal requirements: when required by law or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
7. Where we store information
Beacon and the information it processes are hosted on dedicated servers located in Germany (European Union). Where information is transferred to another country, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
8. How long we keep information
- Connected channel data, including Amazon information, is kept while the connection is active and deleted within 30 days after you disconnect the channel or close your account.
- Account information is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after the account is closed, except for records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
- Contact form and email enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer and follow up on them, and for no longer than 24 months.
- Server logs are kept for up to 90 days for security purposes.
9. How we protect information
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest for databases and backups.
- Firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, anti-malware protection and network segmentation.
- Role-based access, least-privilege permissions, multi-factor authentication and passwords of at least 12 characters.
- Logging and monitoring of access to systems that store customer data.
- Secure storage of credentials and encryption keys, which are never hard-coded or shared.
- An incident response plan that is reviewed at least every six months.
10. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the website to work (for example, to remember your language and theme). With your consent where required, we also use analytics and advertising cookies, such as Google Analytics, to understand how the website is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@premierank.com. We respond within 30 days. Beacon users can also disconnect channels and delete their account from within the product, and Amazon sellers can revoke Beacon's access at any time from Seller Central.
12. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify Beacon users by email or in the product.
